COVER LETTER
To Whom It May Concern:
I am interested in any position that will utilize my skills and abilities to their greatest potential with a company that has a high prospective for growth. I currently am responsible for Hiring and Staffing, Coaching and Training, Expense Control and Daily Cash Management in my current role as Back Office Lead at Best Buy. I am also a Full Time Student at Yavapai College pursuing a Management Certification and my AAS in Business Management. Customer Service and Human Resources are where my heart is, however I have also held the titles of Dog Groomer and Certified Preschool Teacher prior to my current role in Retail.
I have experience with all aspects of hiring from phone and in-person interviews, creating and completing i9’s, assisting with the onboarding process and having knowledge of WOTC, FMLA and W-4’s. I also have experience filing and following up on OSHA Workers Compensation claims and Employee Benefits. I have extensive knowledge of technology including hardware such as computers and fax machines, to software such as Microsoft Office. As leader of our Employee Engagement Team, I make the Employee Experience a priority and work closely with Leadership to develop a plan of action to improve engagement between people managers and associates. I am extremely self-motivated and can work alone or as part of a team, can provide numerous skill sets including, oral and written communication, time-management, analytical and decision making abilities all while maintaining the highest level of integrity.
I am an extremely passionate person and like to be part of a team where everyone can contribute to an overall goal. One of my greatest qualities is that I always follow through. I may not always know all of the answers, but I am adamant at getting them. I am an independent thinker and feel that understanding the “why,” makes me better at what I do.
